Terms & Refunds

Short and plain. If anything here is unclear, email hello@paperanimated.com before you order.

What you get

One animated explainer video of your paper, up to 10 minutes long, in the style that best fits your paper (2D, 3D, or editorial), with a script written from the full paper, narration, music, sound design, and charts redrawn from your data. It's delivered in 4K.

Timing

Delivery is usually about a week after payment and your paper arrive. With 48-hour rush delivery (+$100 at checkout), it's within 48 hours. If something will take longer, I'll tell you as soon as I know, and if I miss a rush deadline, the $100 rush fee is refunded.

Revisions

One round of revisions is included: things like wording, emphasis, a chart, colors, or the voice. A completely new direction after delivery, or a different paper, counts as a new order.

Refunds

• Before I start: a full refund, no questions asked.
• If I can't deliver for any reason, a full refund.
• After delivery: no refund, but I'll use your round of revisions to get the video right.

To ask for a refund, email hello@paperanimated.com with your order email.

Rights

You can use the finished video anywhere: your lab's site, YouTube, talks, courses, and social media, including commercially. The music and voice are licensed for that. You confirm you have the right to share the paper with me. I may show the video in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

Payment

Payment is handled securely by Stripe. I never see your card details. For an invoice, a purchase order, or a W-9, email hello@paperanimated.com.
